Yes. Mint Plumbing Services Qld Pty Ltd is a QBCC registered contractor, licence 1301598, and our plumbers and gas fitters are fully licensed. ABN 22 167 029 101.

Do you do emergency and after-hours call-outs?

Yes. The office is open 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and after-hours call-outs are available 24/7. Call (07) 3297 6517.

How do you price a job?

We work by the job, not by the hour. You get a fixed price up front and we agree the work and the price before anything starts, so there are no nasty surprises. If you would rather think about it, we can quote free of charge and come back when you are ready.

What areas do you cover?

Can you clear a blocked drain or toilet?

Yes. We find the cause with a CCTV drain camera and clear it with a jet rodder. Tree roots, broken sewer lines and things that should not be in the drain need a professional, and we will show you what we found.

Can you find a hidden water leak?

Yes. We do leak detection and CCTV camera locating to track down leaks in walls, ceilings and underground pipes, then repair them.

Do you repair and replace hot water systems?

Yes. We repair and replace hot water systems, and our licensed gas fitters look after gas services too.

Do you do insurance plumbing work?

Yes. We do insurance inspect and reports, CCTV camera locating, blocked drains, disconnects and reconnects, and full fit outs. Our customers include insurers such as AAMI, Suncorp, RACQ and CommInsure, and Australian Insurance Repairs.

Yes. A separate division of the company does plumbing, drainage and gas fitting for new homes, renovations and commercial shop developments, from drainage and rough-in through to fit-off.

Why is my tap dripping?

Usually worn washers or O-rings inside the tap. They need rebuilding or replacing, which is a quick and inexpensive job that saves water and money. Turning taps on and off gently helps them last.
